Do Not Istall

You just bought a brand new laptop and you can't wait to get it home to test it out!!!! Stop right there!!!! Put that computer Down an step away from it!!!!!!!! Have you even bothered to look at the instructions. Do you know what programs came preinstalled on it or how they operate. Do you need a manual or instructions for the preinstalled software. These are questions you need to ask yourself or a friend if you need help. Make sure your friend knows more about compters than you, that way the advice will be helpful. Computers are not Magic Boxes, they are tools, an you have to know what you are doing when you use a tool and how to use the tool.

Most PCs and Laptops come with all sorts of software already loaded and ready to use, all you have to do is turn it on. The next step after you've read the manual is to find out what all is preinstalled and what it can do. If you don't know what to do with a paticular program then you need to ask someone or call the Tech Support line for the computer. Most people buy computers so thety can surf the internet an send an receive E-Mail. Did you know your cell phone can do that too? If you what to install software on your brand new PC, make sure first it doesn't already have something on there that can do the same thing. If you still don't want the preinstall stuff, uninstall it, don't just install the new software an forget the other is still preinstall on your computer. Again ask for help if you need coaxing through how to install or uninstall software.

I can't stress enough, get to know your computer before you start to make changes. Making changes before you know how the tool works could be very Bad.
